41 chev COE
ITS FINALLY FINISHED. It's been a good enjoyable build I am still looking for some Mercedes tear drop style head lights for it then it will be really done
the paint is Nissan Impact Red with clear over unfortunately it is a southern winter day up here so is overcast but does pop in the sunlight will take some when the sun decides to show it's self. This is not the original body but a cast of it because their are more to COE's come in the future. I used matte aluminium BMF and polished it up and sealed it with model master sealer for metalizer, instead of chrome BMF because I felt that it replicates the nickel plating used around that time better than the chrome does.
Enjoy
Kynan
Front End sits nice and low
Right hand side in the end the tyres come from the Chevy SSR kit
Left hand side
The back end with one off Paul's number plates " thanks Paul" XP style with bullet centres brake lights and Bullet blinkers
Teak, Rosewood and Blackwood tray The Teak and Rosewood came from the leftovers of the Endeavour wooden boat kit The I finished last year
Inside the cab Chevy Silverardo Seats made in to a bench seat and I just had to put a Hand made Banjo steering wheel " Go Ford
Tight squeeze to get the corvette motor in

I like it, looks wicked. She be a cool work truck to get around in and it wouldn't be hard to get into either with that extra little side step.

Re: 41 chev COE
thanks guy's it was one of those models you see a picture of and you have to build, But when you have done a bit of looking at the info you work out how big a job is in front of you, And you think have I bitten off more than I can chew. The only thing that I did not have to change were the window's every thing else had to be modified or scratch built, but it was a build that I did not loose interest in the whole time but due to health it took a bit longer than I wanted it to.
Thanks Again

That's very Kool! Love those old COE's. I reckon a split window Kombi pickup would look awesome with a tall cab like that.... hmmmmmmm....
