Re: mid mill
average? more like a pos! sorry just really disappointing in my book.Only way to build is like the box art block ,heads, starter and front cover are only 2 pieces bla.
Righty o then, close up of chop and where I had to widen an amt hood to fit
first putty sanded
stance and rear shot
now heres where I want/need your opinions, I think the frame is too skinny see above pics. Should I 1:just add another rail underneath or 2: add sheet styrene to both sides of each rail long enogh to cover both rails?
As you can see theres a lot of room underneath that engine and I just think the frame as present just looks to weak. cheers Brett

Re: mid mill
Howdy DSM. How 'about building a rear sub, similar to the type o the lil'red wagon of the hemi under glass. They're strong, staightforward and shouldn't be to bad to build, even from left over stuff. That'd be my two cents. Good luck. It ought to be slick, like deer guts on a door knob, . Later,Bill.

Re: mid mill
I say semi-spaceframe it with a second chassis rail underneath and some bracing up to the top frame . It's a top lookin g build and a great idea too .

Re: mid mill
Bill's suggestion is a good one.
Make a subframe tieing the engine & rear axle together and pivot it behind the cab with coilovers doing the springing & damping duties.

Re: mid mill
Thanks guys. Well I think it may even be ready for offiicial primer, added the forgotten sun visor (twas the front cowl off something AMT). Lots of unseen work on the frame and front guards area and started on the floor and firewall.
and put 1st coat of paint on wheels to match the small version
