Re: mid mill
thanks guys ,finished sanding, primering then chucked some colour on this evening. Main body is going to need a little more sanding (paint highlighted some stuff that primer helped hide) and the blues a bit too dark. But thats ok the main thing I want to take away from this build is tiding up body work issues . So heres a couple of teaser shots
cheers for the support and comments

Re: mid mill
thanks guys, had a bit of a setback yesterday, when I was clearing it with my ex trusty coathanger poked through from the back window it poped the back piller joints . So I finished clearing and then reglued today. Theres practically no putty in the whole chop so have sanded over the join and will mask it off and respray in a couple of days. Did get some plug wireing and the blower tiedown straps done.
Now should I plumb the carbs? I feel that if I do then I'll have to plumb the nitrous bottles at the back which is getting in way deeper than I'd intended to

Re: mid mill
The motor looks good as is. I would not plumb any more if you never intended it to be a complex build

Re: mid mill
Sweet.
Maybe add fuel & nitrous lines but stop there?
The panelling in front of the back wheels looks a bit bare. Maybe some decals there or rivet heads (use a 1mm drill and just twist enough to make a dint - looks like theres a rivet there).

Re: mid mill
Yeah was going to do something there Fred (panels) decided against anymore wiring (taking it too far from the original concept) Fixed the piller cracks, made some tinted windows, alcladed a moon tank and repainted the body of the truck with a crapload of the same blue now that the flake has come through.
Re: mid mill
That's friggin' wild! The rivets give it a tuff look. Well done!
