Very nice work so far, the Allison looks great
I say leave it as a bus & make a soft top to show off the power?

Re: Kombi with a differance
The last month has flown by,I was hoping to this finished and take it to Tumit but still a lot of detail to do now
Just finished priming the chassis ,I still haven't decided on the colour for the chassis yet
Here are a few progress shots
Brake and Throttle
Battery and cradle(24V)
The last is the Fuel Tank and mount(this is the 5th tank i made trying to get the scale right

Re: Kombi with a differance
Just checked my last post and it was back in March, better get this thing finished.
Painted the chassis and started assembly
All brake lines ,power steering and fuel lines done.Wiring installed battery's fitted
The body is primed and ready for paint and just waiting for some tubing to finish off the exhaust and a new fuel tank
So far over 350 nuts and bolts have been used
Here are the final assembly photos
