32 Ford 'Knight-mare'... Empty 32 Ford Showrod...

Post by Kane Sun 12 Sep 2010, 8:50 pm

This is my latest build that I have started, a 32 Ford Showrod.
It's taken a bit of work to get it to this stage, or maybe I'm just slow, to try and get the wheels to fit and keep it low, basically just a lot of trimming.

Colour for this one will be Tamiya Champagne Gold and Testors Bronze.

Anyway, more updates as they appear.
Thanks for looking.

Looking good already Kane. Love the wheels - should match in nicely with the colours you're thinking about.

Sorry Bryce, I had thought about it, but I'm not up to your caliber.

Geoff wrote:Hey Kane, what are the wheels off ?
Geoff, the wheels are Pegasus Monster T's, 19's on the front, 23's for the rear.

That will not be the final colour for the wheels, the plan is to be not so blinged up.

Really? It's not that hard. I've seen your work and I reckon you could handle it easy. Happy to talk you through it if you want some advice.

For the first time in 3 months and many Guitar Hero songs later, I finally have gotten back to some building.
And here is some pics of the progress made.
Colour is Tamiya Champagne Gold with 2K clear, yet to be polished.
Apart from having to strip and respray the main body, the vision in my head is slowly coming together.
Thanks for looking.

Oooh nice. With that paint and those wheels it's begging for a touch of carbon fibre. The Hasegawa CF film is as easy to use as BMF and would look great somewhere like the running boards...

I've already thought about using CF but wasn't sure where would be most appropriate.
Was just thinking maybe the firewall? Probably definitely the interior somewhere.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
