Air brushing nail polish
OK, did a search and nothing came up. Any thing other than thin and spray (15pounds pressure) or have I got it all arse about.
Have never tried to do it, but I would like to learn. Thank you

Re: Air brushing nail polish
thin nail enamel with GP auto thinners, air pressure I use about 25 to 30 psi.most nail enamel is transparent you may need to put base colour down first and need a enamel clear coat on them, watch using ones with gold flakes in them it can fly in the air,I end up with gold flakes in hair and face wife said it looked pretty oh most are semi flat colours and some are fast drying.hope this helps you.

Re: Air brushing nail polish
Perfect timing with this post,Fat 1.Thanks. Would someone please give me an idea as to preferred thinners and reducers for particular paints? For example, which types can I use acetone with.Which should I stick with enamel reducer. What brands are most reasonably priced and still perform well. I guess I can use pretty much any info you guys can give me. I painted real ones for years but applications over styrene,as y'all know, is a whole 'nother bag of worms. Trying to avoid expensive screw ups here. Thanks to all of you for any advice. Bill

What ever you do DO NOT use GP thinners. get Acrylic thinners because you are after all using Acrylic lacquer. One it will flow better and second it wont shrink back.
