Grand Prix Auto Union by CMC
This is CMC's 1:18 scale 1938 Auto Union Type D as driven by the maestro Tazio Nuvolari, in which he won the Donnington Grand Prix of that year. A Type D also won the last Grand Prix of 1939, before the outbreak of World War II. It had a rear mounted supercharged V12 of approximately 600bhp. This is the car that pretty much started the rear engine revolution in racing cars.

Re: Grand Prix Auto Union by CMC
I paid about AUS$200 for it John, but that was four years ago. I doubt it's available any more (#4) as this was limited to 1,500 pieces world wide, but the plain version is still available on CMC's website for US$225 plus delivery costs. Have a look in their online shop at http://www.cmc-modelcars.de/cn/index.htm
