Started this quite a while back. Had already painted the body in the Black and White but whilst polishing it I went through some of the Black. So in the box it went.

Pulled it out the other day and gave it a repaint and a change in direction, yep, gunna be a gasser. The beauty of auto acrylic is all I did was give it a light sand, a quick coat of primer, just to get even colour, then resprayed it with no problems.
New colour is Fusion gold pearl with red Candy, then straight red candy over the top, followed by plenty of clear and polished.
Will plobably go with a 409 or small block with injection. Not sure on wheels yet.
Front rails have been cut off with evergreen added and leaf springs and dropped axle, may swap it for a straight axle yet.

That's heaps better than the black and white. Beautiful colour.

Does this come with the grille separate from the bumper or do you have to cut?

Fred, grill and bumper are one piece and very nice, kicking myself now, should have kept the PE grill for this build, oh well, I do have a seperate grill from the AMT 57 but think I'll invest in another PE kit, I think it deserves it.
