A pair of deuces
Now that the big coupe is nearly done , I have made it back to the model bench
Here is a preview of what I am working on
First is a chopped 32 3W
it will have the flattie from the Tudor kit, hood sides from the roadster, interior is a mix of 3W, 5W, roadster and Tudor
Rear end is a quick change from my parts box. A resin stock style firewall will also be used
Still mulling over wheels and tires at this stage - leaning toward early Hairbands or steelies
Dash is a combination of the 32 Roadster and a 3W
The second project is a 32 Vicky
I had anold AMT built up glue bomb that I was able to salvage the body from
As you can see, the lower front flanks on the AMT kit are all wrong so I have replaced them with the same section from a Revell Tudor
After trimming out the wheel arch from the AMT body I added a small filler piece to make it fit the Revell fenders
I have also added the rolled edge around the top of the cowl
The Tudor windshield frame has been narrowed to fit and will be Alcladded
I am using a modified Speedwagon interior in this one
It will be a full fenered car and will be finished with the parts from one of the Revell 32 kits
Will post more pics as I progress

Re: A pair of deuces
Nice work Chris. Looks like another pair of winners coming up. Maybe the steelies for the coupe?

Re: A pair of deuces
Cool projects Chris. I have a similar hiboy project rattling around in my head at the moment but I want to use a SCoT blower on mine.
