RM 49 Mercury OOB
Started this a little while ago and have found it quite a challenge, I wanted to, for once, build something out of the box. For those of us that can't help our selves and have to modify everything you know how hard it is to resist. Anyway, I mainly wanted to do this for the OOB classes at shows and couldn't think of another kit that I liked enough to leave alone.
Colour is Toyota Galaxy Blue pearl with flames, no pics of these yet . As I will have it finished tonight I thought I'd leave those pics till tomorrow in the sun. Flame mask by Chris was used.
Everything that is not painted body colour, except interior, was Alcladed. Interior was painted Tamiya white then a flat clear was used over that, the piping was done with a light blue Sharpie. Dark blue flocking was used on the floor and bottom of door cards.
Underside was clearcoated with 2pac.

Re: RM 49 Mercury OOB
Love it. That blue will look awesome in the sun.
I know how hard it is to build box stock, for a long time there
I didn't build from a box!
Hopefully see it and you next weekend.

Re: RM 49 Mercury OOB
Nice sharp interior, one thing that annoys me about this kit is no window or door cranks
Is the 2pac on the underside polished or just straight from the gun? Looks very shiney either way.
