Man, I really liked the Karman just did not think it was nice to these wheels, but it's just my opinion, because his work is very good, congratulations.

The wheels look a lot better under the painted car, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Here is some more work I have done, had to respray the interior shell, and have started on the interior work.

Yeah I'd have to agree with Bryce. The engine does look a bit stock.

This has been noted and maybe the first post should be re-read again.
Anyway, I've adjusted the title to avoid confusion for everyone.

FWIW, most custom VW's I found on the net, didn't have any kind of chrome in the engine bay.

Anyway, enough of that rubbish, I must be the slowest builder around. But I finally have some progress.
The body has finally been polished, and BMF done.
All chrome has been stripped and painted with Alclad.
And there has also been a change of direction with the wheels too, as apparently oven cleaner and aluminium don't mix, will know that for next time.

Managed to get the glass installed and the interior roof lining done, and also decided to add some sunvisors as well.
The rear vision mirror is painted just needs to be stuck on.
Hopefully now it is on to final assembly and then start making the exhaust. I can't do that yet as I have to wait till the body is on to make it easier for correct positioning.
