1964 chevy impala

ahh yes here we are another 64 impala to add to my collection after having some good news the other day i decided to pull this kit out and finish it off ive modded the motor and the suspension is different heights to give that pimped look the color is bright green with lame flake everything else is pretty much standard hoping to get this one finished before this tuesday i tried a few new things with this one the grille for instance, got the idea from dv8v8, the rims i used the same method the boot lid and bonnet will be hinged in the opposite way using a method learnt from shoey so used a few new tricks on this old girl

Looks the goods, is the hat from a diecast? I haven't come across any shotgun type 'catchers in kits.

I have a couple of resin ones which I got from the states.

that particular one came off a diecast plymouth gtx i had it on a corvette i built but thought it would look better on here lol
