Small off-road 'Run Down' truck depot yard Dio
I experimented with putting my very first 1 / 24 truck into a small diorama. I decided that I would take a few pictures on the outside to see how authentic I could get. To my surprise, it looked pretty close to the real thing ... or not ... Judge for yourself. I have some more stuff to add, and others to re-adjust, but I think it starting to take shape.

Thanks. Glad you guys liked it. The grease is simply a mixture of old machine grease, used to lubricate them(from my work place. I work in a steel factory) and a mixture of black paint mixed with a little black pigment. I just mixed everything with a Q-tip and applied.

Yep very cool, as others said, lots to look at. Just one little observation, maybe with the tyres you have lying around, have some worn out ones instead of good ones, not sure if anyone would leave good ones outside, just my other than that awesome job.
Cheers

Amazing realism in this one. That container looks like its been there for years. If only you could train a spider to weave a tiny web near the open door.
Everything looks tired, dusty, and junky; but have to agree with Tubman - worn down tyres would look more authentic outside.

Fantastic job, that container is spot on, almost impossible to pick from the real one's sitting in the yard at work.
Ultra realistic

Added an old Volvo F12 engine at the back of the container:

Thanks mate. I've managed to create some worn/blown out tires, an old barrel and a couple of figures to the dio. A little more weathering to do on the figures then I should be(hopefully) satisfied.

What they all said, wow.
I figure the tyres are new ones waiting to be fitted.
