41 Willys pickemup

The old AMT kit, just a box stocker , got a couple of detailed projects underway and just wanted some thing simple to work on in between.


not too bad a kit for its age, a little flash but that's nothing unusual for a n older kit or AMT

.....Alright I'm watching this one , and yeah for an older kit it's a fun build besides the horribly fitting hinged hood!

House of colour Candy blue over coarse aluminum DuPont, like this

got a couple of touch ups to do, shoulda just used the old wide angle single action

did a bit of suspension work today too

Almost done, decided to use some leftover decals I had, rather appropriately from a blue 41 willys. Minor touch ups to do and I decided to attach an as yet unattached (confused yet) parachute

Looks great, nice work on an oldie.

SooooPerb. Just one thing ...since you spent so much time on the rest of the truck how about fixing the handbrake so you dont have to use that paintbrush to stop it rolling away !
