Thank you very much mate, that plate idea is a cool one, but it will be on Special Interest rego, a bit like club rego on the big island. You have to take what you are given, and it is about half price with limited times you can use them (52 times a year).

She looks awesome Dale, it's a real credit to you
Those wheels are just the cats pyjamas, wish I could find a set like that for my old girl.
Hope you get her on the road very soon, it'll be a buzz to cruise around in.

WOW ...superb. Just love this mate. Your a lucky fella!
I often wonder what the big deal is with the old T/A's. Had an EH wagon that had the old Torque Twisters on it. I put some TA's on it and they were on it for a week ...took it back and had new Twisters put on it!
Anyways well done buddy. Jealous muchly

Re: MY VC'S * DONE BABY DONE!!*
Thanks TJ, really looking forward to it.
Dean, T/A's, back in the day were great for the price as we usually blew them off inside 12 months mate, and now, there are not many options for big rubber in 14". I searched for 4 years to replace the 265's on the rear of the white one, as I refuse to pay drug money for tyres. (asking $700 each).
As for the tyres on the ute, they came with the wheels mate, so they can stay there for a few years I reckon. And thanks for the compliments too mate, I am very happy with the outcome.

This is a wonderful restoration of an under rated car. I love this to bits. My earliest motoring memories are in dad's VC sedan that he bought when he came home from Vietnam for a bit over $2000.00. No rear seat belts, terry towelling seat covers, front bench seat, after market cassette player through crap speakers, sitting on his knee steering - those were the days.
