Father & son Mini's (update)
My son is in love with mini's at the moment because they are small like him.So giving in to the nagging i got a second one to do them together. The good thing he wants to get more involved so he has paited the motor and the front end.His is racing green with silver roof mine racing white with maroon roof.
Thanks for looking.

Wow he did a great job on the motor, A true craftsman in the making I recon. An ya cant go wrong with mini's. Your son has good taste in cars. Great work both of you.

Re: Father & son Mini's (update)
Thats cool, it is a great feeling to be able to sit down and do something like this with your son, thats how Adam started with me, then it progresses onto him doing his own paint etc, seeing them progress and build their skills, wont be long and he will have his hand out for model money of wanting to raid your own stash of kits, and parts, ENJOY!! the Mini's are gonna be a treasured pair when finished, their coming along just great.

Re: Father & son Mini's (update)
The ultimate reward for any dad is for his children to mimmick his love of life and hobbies. That is a brilliant build by the young fella and like DeeCee says, these are memories that cannot be replaced. Guard your stash well!

This is great to see- this is what is known as quality time. You will get so much enjoyment from doing this. I will post my mini model for you once I get Allan to help me again, and again and again.

Re: Father & son Mini's (update)
My old man waited until I had finished (having given me no instruction or help) then told me everything I had done wrong, stripped it back somewhat and reassembled it, less "unsalvagable" parts. Admittedly them parts were kind of frosted....
It's good to see there are better father son relationships!
