Bantom Blast Altered sort of.
Here's something I started ages ago and only got as far as painting the chassis. I bought a resin body from the states to go on it ages ago too when I ordered some sedan deliveries.
Dragged it out again last week and thought I'd try and jam it together in time for this weekend (Wagga) so I had something new to throw on the table.
Got the motor painted and assembled and got a fair bit of the chassis done too. I was going to wire everything up but once the body goes on.........it hides a lot of the detail.
Chassis needs a few more details and a lot of touching up but it's a roller at least!
Bantom Blast kit.
A couple of shots of where the chassis is up to at the moment.
I'll keep you posted with only two days to finish her the race is on.

Well after a few dramas, I'm just about to call it a day on this one.
It was a mad rush job to have it done by the weekend but all in all it turned out pretty good. For the time and effort I put in, I'm happy with the results.
I initially painted the body GMH Cyan blue, but than realised that I'd have to "adjust" the body to clear the exhaust. Than as I trimmed the body the paint chipped.
So a quick sand to the affected area and a change of plan, I slapped a quick spray of silver down the side, than some GMH Topaz gold around the bottom.
After it dried I asked the boss what she thought either clear red over it giving it a hopefully purple top fadeing into candy red or clear blue giving it a deep blue top fadeing into a emeraldy green..............she chose clear red for the hopefully purple to candy red finish.
But it didn't quite come out that way, the purple came out a deep maroony/burgandy fadeing into a candy apple red, I chucked a pearl coat over the top and cleared it for a result I liked, than applied the Black Widow decals.
Looked great! Added a spider decal......hated it, removed decal and marked paint!
Dug out some other "cover up decals" and fixed it!
Added the body to the chassis and touched everything up and fitted the exhaust and steering.
All finished with hours to spare!
