Kannonball Kombi

Finally got a chance to get back to this one, i have molded a small Hemi scoop, upside down into the roof for the engine to breath from. Also got stuck into the paint today aswell.



Hope to get a bit more model time soon.

LOL i built a 1:1 in the 80's with a 351 clevo ehind the seats and a 9" diff only problem with it was the Mickey Thompsons never got any grip. And of course all the tickets it generated with all the attention she grabed

Hey guys, finally got in the groove to do a bit more to this. Threw a bit of paint at it the other day, hopefully do interior over the next few nights and bang it together. I'm over this one.
Roof is polished.

And matching sides, with Hemi side scoops.

Will do a BMF line to separate the upper and lower section on the sides.

Thanks guys, I just love to paint. I have also spent a bit of time designing an exhaust system, with custom outlets.


Just need to tidy it up a bit, then final assembly.

WELL!! Good day bad day! thats where i should put this next update. The problem with candy paint is, if you get a mark of stuff it up somewhere, you can't fix it and not see it. Tried to fix a couple of bits, and a glue finger mark, BAD MOVE!

Here is where it ended up. (Back in the spray booth).


Ended up not so bad, a couple of hours and out it popped again.



There is a bit of blue pearl in the clear this time too, will let it gas out for a few days, then start the polishing process all over again.

Bad day gone good...........looking good again mate!!

Loving what i am seeing..

Hi guys, got over the set back, added some BMF, and started the final assembly. Remade the exhaust system and added a flip side big screen aswell.


Here's a mock up of what it will hopefully resemble.
