Cue-T Bird
Well here I am in the middle of WA in lovely downtown Cue ...hot dusty and hot. Also very windy at times and very hot. Finally got some bench time and I thought something fast and dirty to get back into it would be the order of the day.
Chassis and interior are done (just need a bit of touch up here and there that I spotted in the pics). Gone with a grey interior with black floors and gold body. I am not doing any BMF on it. Not because I dont want to but because I have tried 3 times and every time the paint peels off with the trimmings and I have to fix it up. The paint has just not stuck to the body as well as it should have.
Dropped the front a bit (These always sit too high at the front I think) and thats about all I have changed. Nice kit to build and a great car as well.
So its gunna be basic and quick (depending on the wind - EVERYTHING gets coated in red dust when its blowin' hard) but its good to get back to the table.

Looking good.
I got this kit but not built it yet. It looks like one of AMT's good ones.

Looks great. I like the colour.
I have built this kit and really enjoyed it. I have always been tempted to get another one.

Good to see ya back at it Dean, looking good mate, and if some red dust got into that paint job, you could just call it an "Outback Pearl".

Re: Cue-T Bird
I was doing some loaming (Taking soil samples and panning off to follow the shed trail of the gold) and got some nice flour gold (mega fine) the other day. If I can get some more I can do a 'real' gold flake paint job hehehe !
