Wagon Queen Family Truckster

I thought I'd sqeeze this one in for our movie category
I've been wanting to do this for years but couldnt find anything to base it on.
I bought a 1/24 scale diecast Chrysler wagon. but being diecast would have been
tough to get the right shape.
I had an old Monte Carlo laying around which looks nothing like the
Wagon Queen Family Truckster.
Lots of Evergreen plastic and car bog to the rescue.
This is 2 nights worth so far.
this will be a curbside with not a great deal of time spent on it. (a bit rough)

Now that's different, like it. 

I am always amazed at your ability to just go and build what you want , I reckon the work you do is terrific.

My memories of the movie, what you're building certainly looks the part. And I'm with what Foxy said above, your work is always terrific.

See, even Shoey likes 4 door wagons.

To turn a two door coup into a 4 door wagon unreal I'm jealous of your skill. Awesome job!

Must say CONGRATULATIONS on reproducing the worlds most ugliest wagon, top job man, your skill is amazing.

Great skills but what impresses me the most is......2 nights work! Man that's 2 weeks work for me, maybe a month!

Mr Barris has a lot to answer for with this fugly thing. I gather your off your medication again ....I cant think of any other reason anyone would even think about building this thing.... 

If only you used your incredible skill for good instead of evil

I don't generally nag you about casting stuff Mr Shoey as I appreciate why you don't and respect that decision.
However in this case I can only repeat the posting of the member above.

i think it was SUPPOSED to be ugly. Barris' real shame should be the Monkeemobile.

i've considered doing my own truckster, and have downloaded the paper model to build/base on.

I got a bit more done tonight.
I also got some colour on it and as usual it looks
different on the computer as to sitting here in front of me.
Hopefully it takes a better photo out side.

You are an A class freak of modelling nature. This is simply AWESOME ! Maybe you should cast it and have it smashing through a billboard or one of the many adventures this car faces in the movie. Looking good.

Almost done but not to forget Aunt Edna,
To be movie correct, Aunt Edna should be on the roof
after the big jump which almost destroys the car.
I am doing it pre jump so it still has all head lights, grill and bumper.
If I don't put her on it, people will say where is Aunt Edna.
