10 YEARS!....QLD N.N.L. Titles 2014

Well folks it's on again, this time it's our 10th year of running the event.
and it's going to be a big one. Great trophies and stacks of prizes to be won.
not to mention a chance to catch up with fellow modellers in a great atmosphere.

Rockhampton Scale Modellers Association presents the 2014 Qld NNL Titles or (Rockhampton Model Show)
to be held on Saturday 8th February from 9.30am to 4.30pm at the Criterion Hotel Quay street Rockhampton.

Set up from 7.30 Saturday 8th
Note NO ENTRIES will accepted after
10.30 am unless prior approval from promoter has been granted.

Entry fee is $2.00 per model, up to 5 models, each model over are free.

Most Modellers stay back after the show for drinks and meals.

Oh I nearly forgot! Due to it's large success, we will be holding another swap meet
on the Friday night before the show with Sausage sizzle and Drinks at Shoeys Bar and Grill.

You know it doesn't seem like 10 years have gone since we organised the first NNL. Remember that first room with its bad lighting and space limitations. Perhaps you could organise a table for previous winners as a display of the quality models that have graced the tables over the last 10 years. There would only be a handful of guys who have attended every NNL, I know I've missed one so I'm 9/10. Good luck with this, hopefully I should be there.

I went to the first one and helped Shoey sort it out, was a great week up there....... be good to get up there again but considering I've been to Rocky 3 times and had visits from the cops on 2 of those occasions and taking into account I have a tattoo, wear a club jacket and would want to have a drink with a few mates I'd get arrested this time for sure since all 3 things are apparently now illegal activities in backwards land.......I mean Qld.

I'll see if I can get there, big drive though.

This bloody Shoey's Bar and Grill better live up to it's reputation, been a lot of hype about it.     Apparently big bro Hammozed will be gracing us with his presence too, hmmm, actually, my liver is having second thoughts, haha.

You are right Rob, Queensland has gone to pieces. won't even be allowed to ride a Pogo stick soon, because you could be able to do drive bys on it!

Nothing says criminal element more than 3 or more plastic modelers congregating at a bar together! Selling glue and paint to kids and addicts of plastic.... Fair chance we're next. I don't need to ride my bike to get solitary confinement without being guilty of anything! Lol. Just don't wear your club shirts or we're screwed! 😆😂

Holy crap, 10 years????

I am going to try and get myself a spare day off work (Monday-for recovery..), tho it may be tuff, as we've just had 3 weeks off over Christmas.   
Will see how I go Shoey, no promises tho, ok..... 

Thats great news Stump, if you could make it Friday night for the swap meet, It's a great chance to crack the ice with other modellers.
Being a one day show gives you sunday to recover or travel.
It would be good to catch up, by the way hows the Datto going!

Yeah I looked into the price of flying up and back for the weekend and for what it'd cost um yeah no. Sorry guys won't be this year.

I'm coming up from Roma. Haven't been since I lived in Rocky in 2007-2008. Looking forward to it. Hope to come to the swap meet as well.
