Bill's 33 Ford coupe.
I'm building this for a good mate, he wants to give it to one of his mates for a b'day gift. I'm aiming for a more productive year this year and trying to get a few new ones built and finish some of the half built ones I've got laying around.
I'm starting with the reissued/rebadged ZZ Top Eliminator.
And hoping to make it look something like this....
Prepped and primered the body a few weeks ago than put it on hold to knock the NNL cup 25 over and do the show but with that out of the way today I got some colour on it.

Re: Bill's 33 Ford coupe.
Might have to investigate those Repco Acrylic Laquers your using Rob. Nice colour ! Could use that colour on my next Mercury Kustom. Already used their etch primer. It was weird , 'cause it seemed to spray on thick out of the can then flattened out when it dried. Up our way the Repco paints are a little dearer than the stuff in Supercheap.

Re: Bill's 33 Ford coupe.
I always liked the style of the 33 & 34's over the 32's and this is promising to be a nice build........starting with that colour

Re: Bill's 33 Ford coupe.
Looking good!
I had the same plan, need a few hints on how to make it work, coz right now I'm about two years behind..
As for the wheels on the 1/1 car. Pegasus has some that are identical.
So how's that working oput for you?checkmate wrote: I'm aiming for a more productive year this year and trying to get a few new ones built and finish some of the half built ones I've got laying around.
