QMHE September 13-14
Hi all,
Only a couple of weeks away until this years Queensland model and hobby expo, I hope you've got your builds all trimmed and polished ready to go or if your like bluedog and shoey just starting a new one .
We do have a stand again for this year on a powered site, the display won't be as elaberate as previous years but we will discuss plans for next years show over the weekend. We will have on display 3 catagories you can show your builds in that mimic the compition table in regards of OTB, enhanced and modified, so feel free to bring along older builds or compition builds that you want to display, we will also have a section to one side for works projects, so anything basic, the outright insane that is still in it's raw form about to go to primer or currently in primer, we are doing this so people can get an idea of what modifications goes into custom cars and other CIVIL VIHICLES .
For any more information please pm me or post your question. I'll pull my finger out this time and take some photo's to post on here.
Thanks all and see you at the show

Re: QMHE September 13-14
Not long back from QMHE, I didn't enter anything but went for a look. Congrats to Bluedog for winning the Single media class (box stock) with his snap kit Porsche and Rocket for winning the modified class, as well as best paint for the whole show aaaannnnndd................drum roll please..........Model of the show with his his 37 Ford "Wildfire". All the more special as it is a military model dominated show.
I don't have any pics but I'm sure when Rockets head swell goes down he will post some up.
I just wanted to say a big congrats to the boys, especially Trent (Rocket), on their wins, well done boys.

Re: QMHE September 13-14
Well rocket did pay us all $50 each for it. No it was worth the model of the show all judges made that decision over all the others it was close to the henschel on the catapult display. Now Trent has to better what he did this year for next year
