Just a heads up guys QMHE is on a little later this year so it doesn't clash with the ekka, Time and dates are as follows 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on Saturday 8 September, 2012 and from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Sunday 9 September 2012.
I spoke one of the event organisers yesterday and put our name down for a large club stand for this year, I will send off an email this week just to confirm our place.
Theme for the stand this year is a day the drags including nastalgia drags with show and shine in the car park.

Rocket!! You're alive!! had notice it was a bit later, give us more time to get this thing built. Need to get our acts together one weekend dude, let me know when you guys are free.

Hell yeah i will be there for sure, is there any new forum shirts in the pipeline? ,would be good to have everyone there in club shirts especially when looking after the stand.Carnt wait! GM253

Yeah, have been thinking about it Scotty but we need to come up with a new logo, anyone got any ideas? Something simple like the last one would be good, it would keep the cost down as well.

Yep, sounds good. Need to get together with the Brissy boys to get the basics down then we can get all the dimensions and so on to everyone.

Sorry guys been a bit busy again, Changed jobs now I have to be responsible, lucky me.lol.

Yes, my place. Late morning is fine by me if that's o.k. with you lot.

Auroranut is making a huge effort in creating figures for the stand this year, with Bluedog working on seating, Tubman and Myself creating the base and drag strip. If possible can somebody look into a christmas tree for start line(no not one for putting pressies under). The other thing I ask for is would people be able to paint some figures and could we also please donate a few bucks to Chris for the cost of resin as we are looking at around 100+ figures.

Thanks for asking about helping out with the resin and rubber Trent, but don't worry about it- this one's my treat.
The only thing is that I'm swamped with commission work at the moment and I won't have the time to paint all the figures so it'll be a job that'll have to be farmed out. I'm not sure how many figures there'll be but it'll be over 100 and there's no way I can convert AND paint so many figures in under 12 weeks!!
I'll let you know when they're ready so we can get them sent to whoever can help paint the little buggers....

Auronaut, had a chat last night, if someone down there is willing to post up to us about 25 figures we will paint them up and either send them back OR bring them down when QMHE is on. If this is cool, PM me and I'll give you an address.

I'm still modding the masters for molding and the weather here can't make up its mind what to do (humidity and resin don't play friendly together) but I hope to have castings ready over the next few weeks.
I'll let you know as soon as I have castings ready to send if that's cool...

It just so happens i've been trying my hand at figure painting recently and will appreciate more to hone my technique.
