Re: QMHE
A quick update on the figures...
I've cast around 100 torsos and heads so far and I'm working on the arms and legs now. Hopefully I'll start sending out figures to you guys for painting around this time next week.
I'm not sure 100 will fill out the dio so if any of you have painted figures you can bring along it'd help out a lot.
The figures I'm using are Tamiya Campus Friends and Fujimi Mechanics. It's not easy converying a handful of figures into dozens of different looking figures but it's getting there.
Chris.

Re: QMHE
Your a machine chris the effort your putting into them will be greatly appreciated, thanks champ.
The ideas and effort everyone is making is incredible I can't wait til we put all this together on the weekend.
I was thinking of increasing the size and get more tables and a second club stand just fit all this in, a full 1/25 scale drag strip anyone. lmao.

Re: QMHE
If you increase the size mate I'll have you shot!
I'd love to have made up enough figures to cover the whole starting line (2-300) but there's just not enough time and resin. I might just keep the molds going after QMHE 'til they fall apart. They can always be used in the clubs future projects...
You're right Trent- I'm a machine. Pity most of the rods are bent......it'd also explain why I'm shitting nuts and bolts....

Re: QMHE
Flasher circuit for the christmas tree staging lights is made and tested ok. Just need to build the tree now.. Is anyone already making a staging light beam box? If not it would be handy to incorporate that into the tree so i can hide the circuit board...

Re: QMHE
Rocket, or anyone else involved in the club display table.
I am trying to get up to QMHE this year and wondering if you needed any more nostalgia drag cars for the display or do you have plenty already ?
I will probably enter a few as well .
Cheers Peter.

Bring em up Peter, looking at around 40-50 cars on the display so plenty of room, would be happy to have them.grey six wrote:Rocket, or anyone else involved in the club display table.

Re: QMHE
Chris is doing the figures but has been a bit crook, I'm sure he will let everyone know when he is ready to go.
What about a BBQ or 2 for the pit carpark? How are you with signage, need a banner for the carshow, maybe something along the lines of "The Shelby Car Owners Club Show and Shine" as I Shelby's are the feature. If not let us know so someone else can get onto them. Do you have any suggestions?
Cheers
Kirk

Re: QMHE
Thanks Kirk.
Yeah, I've not been too well lately and I'm behind schedule. I've got a handful finished and ready for paint so far and I have mountains of bodies, arms and legs that I'm piecing together right now. I'm priming 'em as I go so they should be right to paint as soon as you get 'em.
I know I'm pushing friendships here and leaving not much time for you guys to paint 'em but I'll do my best to get 'em out to you ASAP....
Chris.
