Norm Beechey Mustang

One of my all-time favorite race car drivers - Norm Beechey.
The first man to race a Ford Mustang anywhere in the world and win with it.
This one is built from an AMT 1965 Ford Mustang kit.
Typical nose-high stance.
Home made white stripe decals. Neptune and numbers from Patto's Place.
Tyres from Linberg Dodge Caravan kit (sanded until nearly smooth) on kit rims with tyre valve detail added.
Back of grille removed and replaced with wire mesh.
Front additional radiator made from some custom grille and parts unknown and long forgotten.
Rear quarter windows added. All glass made from clear sheet.
Testors paint. Silver paint trim.

awesome build. i quite like seeing builds of aussie racers. Now you need a Beechey Monaro to go with it.
