71 duster
well here is another one i've been monkeying around with a 71 duster i got the idea to use a twin over head cam hemi in made fraem stiffeners joined the frame front and rear to toughen it up for the monster also parts i collected to go into the duster motor hood scoop and factory steel wheels and center caps from revell charger also the conversion parts from a 70 amt superbee and the hemi dart rear and springs from revell this is proving fun to do to the kit going for that sleeper look so im deepening the steel wheels and trying to make the hemi fit under the hood.................................

Re: 71 duster
Hang on, I gotta go look at that kit again ... back in a sec ...
Woah! Well I'll be dipped! I've got one in the Pro Street Coronet kit (same thing I know) I just hadn't studied it well enough. Good stuff, I smell a new project coming on, but I'm watching this one still, might need to see how you go with this.

Re: 71 duster
I know what you mean about trying to get it to fit. Tried putting one in a 69 charger I have and the inner guards are just too narrow the heads hit the inner guards. Only solution that I could come up with was cutting out the inners and replacing them with the superbee guards.

Re: 71 duster
You could remove the inner guards, (fenders), and make a tube front end, or just narrow them
and refit, making more room for the engine..
EDIT: I just went and checked my Dirty Donny's 70 Superbee kit, it has this twin cam option in it too..... a good day...

Re: 71 duster
There's a really Kool story about Paul Annunziata on Jay Leno's Garage who wedged a 426 Hemi-engine into a 75 Duster , big fan of this model engine , its a fun build and yours is looking awesome .
