1963 Ford Thames 400E Panel Van

Actually a friction toy campmobile, scale about 1/23. Will turn it into a 70's style panel van with full van-interior. Chassies will be curbside.

This could be real cool Darryl....can't wait to see what you do with it.

That is a cool shaped body, its a good start to something awesome.

Well, like I mentioned above I'm going for that true 70's look. If possible I'll try to make it look really traditional "British" in style as well. I'll run british lic plates, RHD and so on...

Today I put new plastic in the large opening on the left side while the right side still remains open.

Glued the first innerpanel in place this morning:

Not much progress, but opened up the holes in the sidepanel for the "bubble-windows" and found a wing for the roof in my parts-box.

Sorry for the blurry pics (not used to my new camera) I have now made new "pods" for the headlight and rear marker/directional lights. I,ve also found an old chassie-plate from an unknown van which I'll probably use for this build.
