Thought this one might be a fun build, and a chance to play around with some paint effects..

Cool nice to see one of these being built as I have one to be built and looking forward to see what you do with it. Interesting paint scheme you have going on. Cheers Steve

Thanks guys, i have had a change of color scheme on this one, i spent a bit of time in the spray room last night with a few beers, and came up with this so far..

It is very purple, not the blue you see in the pic... why this happens is beyond me... dunno

Mate the paint looks sweet, the blue in the photo looks good but the purple would look awesome.

I changed up the decals on this as they are pretty plain, so i grabbed one of the options from the 57 Del Rio Gasser kit.

Morrie, the purple really makes it i think, will try for better pics when done.

twothumbsup  looks sexy dude showus
I'm red green colourblind so I've learnt to live with photos that don't look right (look at my last Cuda build, the nice Chrysler engine red looks pink in the pics)
Sunlight is the best way to photograph .... having said all that,
This beast WILL look cool mate bigthumbsup

Purple is one of hardest colours to get photos of, The Purple you used is cool shade which has blue in it & your Digital camera only see's the blue, if you used a warm shade of purple which has red your camera would only see dark red.
I painted a Porsche Purple and yellow but photos show it blue and yellow.
You might get a true colour outside.
Oh learnt about the diffrent cool and warm shades doing a Art course, Its very hard buying the right colour of paint
