Re: Blown and Injected 69 Camaro Finished!!!!
Gday guys and cheers Stump got some progress on the chassis while the body dries, the front end is all set up, lowered and detail painted. The fuel line is out of solder with clips made of wire. fuel tank has been painted with Mr colour Metalizer and buffed and the tank straps are made of some BMF. I scratchbuilt a fuel pickup for the bottom of the tank and have used a Detailmaster fitting. Now to scratchbuild a fuel pump. Thanks for looking

Re: Blown and Injected 69 Camaro Finished!!!!
Gday guys, got some time to get back into my build, I ended up scratchbuilding a Mallory style fuel pump out of styrene and beer can aluminium for the bracket, and used Detailmaster for the fittings so hopefully the chassis will be all put together tommorow.
Cheers

Excellent work so far, I really like what you did to the stance, gives it more agressive but well balanced look. Keep us posted... I like where this is heading

Re: Blown and Injected 69 Camaro Finished!!!!
That looks really cool Adam - nice detail work!
Got a bit to get off my bench at the moment, but have my '69 Camaro mocked-up and hoping to get some paint on before the end of summer.

Re: Blown and Injected 69 Camaro Finished!!!!
Got started on mocking up the motor this morning, I am using the kit supplied block, heads etc. The resin blower, manifold and injector hat are from The Parts Box here in Oz. The pulleys I sourced from Arrowhead Aluminium, and are fantastic! Anyway hope to get right into today.

That is one serious block....i think it will look great squeezed in there.
Re: Blown and Injected 69 Camaro Finished!!!!
Gday guys, It's been a long time. (moving house etc). Thanks for the comments. Now i am back all set up and have got back into it, so just a few pics showing what i have been able to do over the past few days. I cut off the molded in balancer and have replaced it with a turned aluminium piece. As mentioned the pulleys are from Arrowhead. The tensioning bracket is just some styrene. Now I am all settled, all go from here.

Thanks guys. Paul you got that right, lol! Anyway have nearlc completed the injector hat, which is a resin Parts box item. Going off references I have made the rear fuel block and front fuel block out of some styrene. All that left is to paint it plumb it and attach the linkages. Thanks for looking

Re: Blown and Injected 69 Camaro Finished!!!!
Gday guys, just an update on where I am with the motor, the block and box are all painted up. The harmonic balancer and lower are from Arrowheadhead Aluminium. I have also started detailing the injector hat with the wiring up of the fuel lines. Should have it finished this week. I hope.
