Quick question...I am limbering up for my first resin body build up and need to know what is being used out there to clean off the release agents. All the SA articles talk about US products which doesn't help much out here and I have never done a resin kit before....so I would appreciate your help...input...suggestions...etc...

Thanks...

...by the way...love this place. The work is inspiring.

I use "WHITE KING" Bleach concentrate from Coles or Woolies, It works well and it's also good for stripping chrome parts! HTH

I use a splash of whatever bleach Mrs z has under the sink plus some WUL and warm water and then (carefully) scrub at the parts with the washing up brush. Some times I let them soak as well.
Then I rinse in clean water and air dry on a tea towel.
Just be gentle and avoid excess heat and if you have a resin kit with chromed parts then keep them away from the bleach.

H guys

Just continuing on with this thread quickly as I too am about start a resin chassis for a project that i will post soon (so much for finishing what i have started), does it matter how long you leave the resin soaked in bleach i.e over night as I easily forget about these things and do the bolt out of the house at the drop of a dime. hehe

cheers guys
