Re: Random Inspiration!!
Inspiration for scratch builders.
Sorry if anyone is offended, but I thought that it was cool.
Could be the butt of lots of jokes
Could get rear ended
Could get pulled over
Now its your turn ...........

Re: Random Inspiration!!
That's piss funny. Shame about the head but as a wise man once told me, you don't look at the mantel piece while you're stoking the fire...

It may have two many doors for Bryce, but it is a bonafide 'inspirational' car, since it is Victor Bray's first '57 Chev, the one that inspired him to go on to a series of better, quicker and faster '57 Chev's.

Haha Rod, yea it doesn't have white walls and it's not a pick up, lol
Looks sweet Adam, did he take it to Chyslers on the Murray this year? There was a few blokes from Launceston there.

Re: Random Inspiration!!
Nice looking coupe in those pics Chris. Not convinced about the fake military stencilling but the look just screams Bonneville.

Re: Random Inspiration!!
And some details on the FJ , no , it's not for sale , it's going to a new home in the same family soon ...
It is sad about the FJ as my mate and I built that car in the eighties and spent about 10k on it. It has a 173 with triple SU’s, HR disc brake front end, cut down 10 bolt Salisbury diff, Saginaw gearbox, battery in the boot, Datsun 200B SS cloth interior, recessed tool box in the boot, Bilstein shocks with lowered koni springs, S Series Val tail lights, frenched antenna on the passenger front guard, Lukey exhaust, Dragway mags, and the tail shaft is painted like a barber shop pole with the red and white stripe! Last I heard the car had a snake living inside
It was gloss black when finished and we had a few friends use it for weddings. Was never built for racing or drags, just to cruise around in and have fun.
