Re: ’40 Ford Coupe
That's looking real nyce Bryce! You should be able to get a blend in OK. I'd paint the nose and front edge of the yellow decal white, so that your yellow paint will have a consistent undercoat. I'm sure yo'll nail it!
Flame mask for a 40, eh, Zen.... Just so happens there's a 40 sedan in the stash awaiting a session with the vinyl cutter!

Re: ’40 Ford Coupe
Thanks guys.
Well, after a couple of different yellows and several sessions with the liquid mask I think I have achieved some sort of success. It certainly wasn't a waste of time anyway! I’ll let this harden up for a few weeks and get stuck back into it after Xmas.

Re: ’40 Ford Coupe
Tezza, that's a word I first heard from an old Cajun fella. They have a very nice accent altho it takes some getting used to. You'll hear the accent a lot around New Orleans and the Loiisianna bayou country. I took it to mean something done,or maybe an event ,that was very nice or special or unique. It's a very usefull word on occasion. Best to you.Bill

Re: ’40 Ford Coupe
Looks like a perfect result Bryce, splendiferous if I may so bold as to add a word not already used.
A little white as described by William the wordsmith, would make it so much cooler, or should that be hotter?

Re: ’40 Ford Coupe
Thanks for the nice words guys.
Just the regular – Duplicolour rattle can COB.
I have added some white, but it’s on the firewall and inner fenders – I like the front in yellow. Been away camping for the last week, but before I went I mocked up all my current projects on the bench inside. It looks a bit like a miniature hot rod shop.
