Ms Norm - 440 Dart - Page 2 Empty Ooooh, stickers...

Post by zenrat Wed 01 Dec 2010, 10:42 pm

Those flamin' Chevs look good up there.

Seems I have neglected to post WIPs of this one.
It's getting close to the end now.
I've been decaling.

I wasn't really sure what this was going to be when I started but once again it's developed it's own personality as I've progressed.
My thinking is it's a track day car or some sort of amateur racer and the owner/driver has put on stickers from his own and his mates businesses or from people who've donated parts or services or time. Hence lack of an overall scheme and rather ad hoc placement.

Looks great. Think you have nailed the budget racer look, reminds me of going to the races & seeing the EH's & Cortina's back in the day.
Cant wait to see this one completed.

Thanks Bruce.
It seems that i've got the arse stripes slightly crooked (and the rest) so we'll call them vinyl stripes applied after 1 too many stubbies...
