Airbrush art
I thought I'd have a go at a airbrush portrait.
When I took the photo my camera cast a red eye reduction beam
and made it look pretty cool. but when the shutter opened the light
went out. so I got another camera to capture the beam.
I decided to spray a clear red over it and wow! it looked awesome.
but just seconds later the paint turned to crap and ruined the lot.
so now its in the bin! just lovely! Beno told me not to cover it with red,
I shoulda listened!
This is not red paint, it is from the other cameras red eye beam.

Re: Airbrush art
I don't understand a word of what you wrote. Did you paint that or is it a photo that you have applied to the paint? Please explain...?

Re: Airbrush art
Thanks for the comments guys.
The red you can see is a red eye reduction beam coming from another camera. I thought it looked great red so I sprayed clear red over my artwork and it stuffed it royally. I don't have a photo of it after I sprayed it. I just chucked it!

Re: Airbrush art
WOW - that's pretty impressive airbrush work at that size. Did you mask it up or do it freehand? Are you going to do any more?

Re: Airbrush art
Thanks guys, The only masking was around the bottom of the chin.
I used black paint on a white bonnet.
all done with a Delta 81009 d/action air brush.

Here ya go Tubs is this enough for ya, some of these were done about 10 to 15 years ago.
the HQ van has a sticker of Pam Anderson, I was thinking of havin a go
with the airbrush of the same pic. The HQ was scrapped and redone as the Mad Max Van,
The VR Sony Van was done for Darryl McBeth. Sorry for bad quality pics. they are old.

Re: Airbrush art
You took the words right from my mouth Bryce. Airbrush drawing is a remarkable skill mastered by only a handful of people. I guess Shoey you're one of them. Congratulations - beautiful work.

Re: Airbrush art
Thanks AJ, these are the only pics I have.
I built the first one for Darryl but he wanted it to have hinged
doors tailgate and bonnet. it was easier to start again from scratch than to cut up the original.
Looking back at them makes me laugh. thay are ordinary!
