1940 Ford sedan delivery

Hello there, started this last week, had to narrow the rear half of the chassis and raise it up to get the bugger lower. Hinged the tailgate upwards and bonnet sideways.



Getting there, added a fuel cell :ex nascar.

I think everglade will look good?

I reckon that colour will look good, maybe a two tone with a lighter colour on top?

Thanks mate, i'm a fan of darker top/lighter bottom, maybe silver guards? ????????????I'm not sure yet, even solid colour with BMF??????????????

How about just the guards and running board being a different colour? Like this:



Looks like a great project coming up.

I agree with the black guards and running boards. It will help retain an 'original' look that should go well with the modern paint and mods. My 2 cents!

A good metalic would look cool I think, with all the rounded lines it has it would really pop in the sun.

Thanks guys, played around with coloured guards, but did not seem to work for me. Running with one solid colour , i think, who knows what will eventuate. (Micsmav, one icypole stick should be low enough!


Sorry, bit blurry, but get the idea. Needs a polish and BMF, interior to go.

UPDATE!, Got some BMF done, did most of the interior organized in grey felt and flocking. Will do the roof lining when paint and polish is finished. Thanks MOPAR for the thought, i dug up some decals for the side panel, don't look to bad at all i think. Need to clear over decals and polish, maybe chrome or black running boards?????

Yes rod , it is from a kit but buggered if i can remember which one though

FINISHED!! Will post in showroom tomorrow.
