Post by speedster Sun 06 Jul 2008, 11:39 am

Hey guys, got a few builds out of the way yesterday so decide to do a build of my 1.1 34 ford coupe how it looked back in the 60s , been tellin myself for along time now to do this build , Its funny with the rear guards i found sedan guards fitted better to the channeled body than coupe guards , reversed merc rims on the rear & stock cusso up front ,40 flattie with ol' 3 speed box & 32 grille shell with a mesh insert . I guess one day i should get the 1.1 back on the road. Paul.

guys im not sure how to take your comments either im a liar or a looser ?

I'd say you're just very lucky to have something like this in the shed Paul. I think TJ and I would both like to have had the chance to own one when they were just old cars that no one wanted... Sad

Hey Paul, I think you need to get that old thing back on the road too.

Just the way it was back in the day.

Come to think of it, I should be workin on my 1/1 model 40 and the Humpy too, in order to get some more road miles under their wheels.

Too many projects not enuff time......

But back to your comment above re the sedan fenders, I always figured the AMT kit fenders to be the same for sedan and coupe. Now I'm gunna hafta go out inna cold and check.

Love the classic rods. You're very fortunate to have the real thing to work from - looking forward to seeing the final build.
