Re: 41 Willys Street Rod
Got some other pics under need the body.
The interiour looks more darker because of the evening ligt, the dash is repainted since the picture. Its same color but with chrome edges instead of black around the meters and other chrome details.

Re: 41 Willys Street Rod
Arno knows that I dig this one. It's one of 2 Willys that got me started the other month on doing mine. The other of the two, of course, was DeeCee's. Fascinating that they they are both immaculately turned out shiny black contemporary machines, but couldn't be more different from each other. And, I swear, this kit is so impeccably engineered that everyone claims they will just do a "quick build"! We know how that can turn out...
Anyway, what I like so much about this version is its simplicity and how it emphasizes the strong points of that terrific engine detail and those smooth, flowing lines. And, of course, getting it "in the weeds"!
Welcome to the forum, Dinky, and thanks for sharing this one with us!

Re: 41 Willys Street Rod
Hi Bernard, thanks for the welcome and yes I know
I have seen your great builds on this forum so I knew you hanging around here also, the triple nickel is great idea btw!
The Willys is a great model its timeless if you ask me, I really like it and I almost bought another one last exhibition. Afterwards I was happy I did not, first I need to complete some unopened boxes

Re: 41 Willys Street Rod
that engine really stands out without the body on. Looks better without the bonnet to and painting the scope black was a good touch. The interior looks great as well nice choice of colours

Re: 41 Willys Street Rod
Thanks for the compliments guys!
About the scoop, I had the idea to replace it with two billet cleaners but I thought the original scoop looked better. Problem, the chrome quality off the scoop was terrible so I removed the chrome and painted.
