41 Willys.

Gday guys a few photos of my 41 Willys, the kit is just sensational I think, Will be building a few more of these! Basically box stock, suspension was lowered and white metal coil over springs were used, blower pulleys were machined from aluminium, I relocated the alternator to the bottom and used a few dress up bits such as aluminium exhaust tips and radiator cap. Paint is Tamiya metallic purple with auto clear.

Did you have any trouble putting the auto clear over the Tamiya paint?

Thanks Bryce. Not at all, goes on quite well. I mist the first few coats then I apply wet. And it comes up very well. Yeah I will have to do work it out, regarding the size of my posts.

Nice Willy! Your right these are a great kit and worthy of many more builds, glad you moved the alternator down outta sight as I think they should have done that with the original tooling!

Great looking car and a top model build, especially the engine. As for the photos, resize your photo uploads to 800 pixels wide. It makes quite a difference.
