tinting windows...

this is also new to me but, il be doing it all the time now that i have tried it...

you can buy tint from auto accessory shops but it is expensive... i am lucky enough to know a fella who subcontracts to my employer and has begun saving his off cuts for me... if i can get enough from him, and if anyone is keen to try il send ya some...

theres nothing to it, simply cut it oversize to the opening on your body and glue it in place. i use revell model glue and it takes only seconds to bond the tint to the body. no need to use the kit glass and this would be great for any resin shell with no availible glass or broken/ lost or poor fitting glass...

all tints can be layered to achieve a darker look using soap...
it also has a protective film that can be removed from the tint that is clear and ideal for windscreens...

if you can get some, or if i can get you some, i highly recommend it

this is 5% tint, very dark and very illegal lol but it is availible...

Good bit of recycling there. I use old negative of cuts for mine.

Ive used Tamiya Smoke X-19 on headlights and taillights ,they looked pretty Kool , never done a larger area thou .

Yes mate i've bn using it too, went into my local tint a car and told them what i wanted it for, he gave me a few bags full of diffrent grade tints, works a treat

Glue it on ???? I used to get the off cuts years ago when there was a tinting shop on every corner . The tint should have a very fine clear plastic cover on one side and when you peel it off it has a sticky surface and you just stick it on .
