custom merc

Cant find the thread for this, so I'll start here and put up some older pics soon. Its the Jimmy Flintstone Hirohata merc.
Finally redone the paint, got to give it a wet sand and polish now :



older pics, used a amt 49 merc for everything but bumpers and grille which are the stock ones from the revell kit ( I think, dunno started a year ago lol)

Did the AMT Merc come with a face? The release I have in my stash doesn't (the Barris Cruising USA one with the prismatic tape stickers).

Like the paint. In fact, like all of it - i was just thinking yesterday that Revell should re-pop their chopped Merc with a flattie & some different options (a stock height roof would be nice).

were cool colour on it,going to put big rubber on the rear of it.

Very cool mate, looked at this body and a couple of the other merc bodies, may have to put them on my list.
What are the rims off?

thanks guys. nah Al , you cant see em under the skirts. Kirk, hey dude , They were just plain chrome steelies, I think from the amt merc just painted them black and left the outer ring chrome

i think i just died and went to modelers heaven, that is frikking awesome dude, i love what you've done with it, although i would have done something else with the engine, but all the same love your work
