Custom Question Re: 49/50 Merc

Okey dokey guys I have a style question about the rear wheel-arch skirting on the MPC 49/50 Merc Snap-Tite kit...

The rear wheel arch skirts are moulded on, and I was thinking about giving it a bit more character by giving it a slight curve along the bottom line of the skirt... Here's a few idea I have so far...



I wanna know that you guys think about this, cause I'm a bit unsure, but want to give the rear arch a bit more, umm, standoutedness?

If I do change it I'll add on the little lip and make it all sexy with that.

If you keep in line with the moulded skirts , may I suggest that you keep some sort of blending line in the skirt That would be version #2. If you curve the skirt it may look a little funny . That will look bitchin anyways !

Iagree with Mr Mick, # 2 looks the most natural, with a tiny lip.

The lip already gives it "Merc" only class, for my two bobs worth, I would leave 'em. That style with the lip is "copied' on other cars to make them a little more custom.

Thanks for all your input guys! I think I will go with #2 this time, fat141 I never tire of seeing pics of that beautiful car of yours, I cant find the other pics though :S

I'm going to so all the bodywork/mods tonight and tomorrow hopefully, and maybe this thing will be done by the weekend!
