I wouldn't mind getting a copy too if anyone knows where I could get one. I built the '32 rustbucket that's pictured there but the dio's in the hands of a collector in Sydney. It'd be nice to have the article....

Hey Rob, is the Meyers Manx for next years show the Elvis one in yellow or is there another one?

Theres another one and it's called meyers manx , the car on the box is in front of a hamburger joint . NOW ! i think the elvis one is the same car with a different box ?

I've seen the Elvis one but I'm not sure if they're the same. The one Scummy said out the front of the Hamburger joint is the one we're using.

The Elvis kit is the same.  It's just an attempt by AMT to get Elvis memorabilia collectors to buy a model kit.
If you are not allowing the Elvis kit in the NNL cup then you should also (on the grounds of fairness*) not allow the sparkly metalflake versions of the other kit.

Does the hamburger joint version have different build options? the Elvis one doesn't appear to.

Elvis kit comes with a "mini-movie poster".  It also has all the build options of the first release.

The hamburger one has a cardboard cutout of a hamburger joint !!!!!

Buy 12 kits there's your answer......1 in 12 is a metalflake red one.   

If the Elvis kit's internals are the same as the Meyers Manx kit than there's no issue with using it.

Has anyone got an Elvis kit so we can compare the two?

Got my  Myers Manx today, and I got the one with the dikky  cardboard cut-out!    For a bit  of fun , I'll build the card board cut out and set fire to it, and or blow it up with a penny bunger, just to retrace my youth! The only problem is , I don't have  any bungers left---can you buy gunpowder  with Paypal???
Anyway , Meyers Manx has begun----have a design and build plan now!

After me stirring you up I bet the one Luke brings up to Ballarat for you is a metallic sparkly one.

I brought 4 and didnt get sparkly one . I'll have to paint it sparkly myself .

I got two and got a sparkly one.  

How come I didn't get a sparkly Manx?  Doesn't matter --it wouldn't have stayed sparkly for very long anyway!  Do they only come in the one colour of sparkly??

Got mine.  It's purple sparkly.
I have 4 possible ways to build it rattling round my head.  I just have to pick the one that will beat Rob's plan...
